Yesterday, it was the last day of school. We were going to have an assembly. There are school newsletters that are handed on Thursday's. It shows who's getting an award or who's the Class Of The Week. The awards are chosen by the teachers. The class of the week is who's going to preform on stage. I checked who was going to get an award. And guess what? It was me who was getting an award! Bahar was also getting one too!
When it was time to go to the assembly, my class walked quietly to the hall. We sat down, then we waited for all the classes to arrive. When everyone arrived, the assembly started. The class of the week did their performance. Everyone clapped. Then, we sang a little bit, then the principal gave out some awards. I waited for the principal to call out my name, then I walked nervously to the stage. I came up and shook the principal's hand. My award was for: being an enthusiastic and focused learner. After retrieving my award, I walked to the side of the stage and waited for the people to get their awards. When everyone was lined up, everyone clapped. We walked back to our seats.
When the assembly ended, we walked back to the classroom. Everyone said goodbye to the teacher, then went home.
I felt REALLY proud of myself!
